Dropboxifier v0.1.7 – Update Released

A bugfix release for Dropboxifier is available. This should help prevent any unintentional loss of data should something go wrong.

Release Notes

  • If moving the files fails for any reason, move any moved files back to where they were and remove any linked entry.
  • If source link does not exist when undropboxifying, move files to their place anyway.

G’day, found your code of codeplex and look forward to learning from it. I’m currently writting an application in c# to analyse my media collection and that of my friends to do compares on who has what, request media also file renaming etc which is almost complete.

I wanted to add dropbox functionality so I had a common non database place to store the xml files am generating and also provide instant backup of scanned library.

Hopefully your willingness to share your source code will go a long way to helping me achieve this quickly, thanks in advance.

    Cheers from down under,

The project is open source until the GNU Public License. You’re free to use the source as long as you understand the license: http://dropboxifier.codeplex.com/license

It’s a pretty open license allowing you to use and modify the source as much as you want, so feel free to grab the code (http://dropboxifier.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets) and check it out!
